The sun with a photon takes a shot at me It runs across the atmosphere Evading dust and wings of birds It penetrates the double-paned window And ricochets off crystals falling in threads Losing its way on the lenses steamed opaque I take them off, trading fog for a blur Bare-eyed, I’m still bulletproof.
